International Day of Jewish Languages at the Museum of Jewish History in Russia

In 2016 the Museum of Jewish History in Russia will participate for the second time in the European Day of Jewish Culture, celebrated in August and September in more than 30 countries across Europe. The campaign, organized by the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage (AEPJ), will culminate in observances of the Day of Jewish Culture on 4 September 2016.

This year the event theme is ‘Jewish Languages’. Accordingly, the museum invites all those interested to join our themed tours and sit in on our open lessons, which will be dedicated to the two best-known Jewish languages: Yiddish and Hebrew.

Visitors can sign up for any of the following events by telephone: +7 (495) 656-45-71.
